The Office of Career Development Center (CDC) offers a variety of services to assist students in exploring their career interests, designing effective career strategies, and identifying the resources, people, and organizations that will assist in their selection of a career path once they graduate from Cheyney University.

There are a variety of remote options to connect with our team for career guidance and insight. Drop-in to our new career chat, submit your resume or LinkedIn profile for an asynchronous review, or schedule an appointment with an advisor in Handshake.
Asynchronous Resume and LinkedIn Profile Reviews
Too busy to meet with us? That’s OK! Our Career Coaches also provide asynchronous resume or LinkedIn profile reviews. Submit your resume in Word or Google Doc format via the form below (Note: You must use a gmail account or your netdeng.com student account to access the form. A Career Coach will review your resume and provide video feedback.
Our current response time is 2-3 business days. For a more immediate response, schedule an appointment through Handshake.
In-Person, Virtual, and Phone Appointments
Want expert advice on how to plan and navigate your career? You can schedule a career advising appointment through Handshake. Appointments can take place in-person or via phone or Zoom. If you choose a Zoom appointment, the advisor will email you a Zoom link at the time of your appointment (you will not need to log in to any platform). If you choose a phone method, please be sure to provide your preferred phone number when scheduling your appointment.

Alumni are welcome to attend the Career Center’s quarterly career development events and workshops. Alumni may also participate in our annual job & internship fairs, where employers are seeking candidates from all educational and work experience backgrounds.
